An early photograph of Ruskin Lodge. Once owned by the personal physician of the Tennyson family. Dr Dabbs was a personal friend of Hallam Tennyson.

Ruskin Lodge has two baby grand pianos. The Marshall and Rose pictured has recently been restored and is situated in the lounge. The second piano, made by John Broadwood and Sons, is located in the dining room, this piano has also been recently restored. Guests are welcome to use either. A wide selection of music is provided.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, the time at your convenience.

Available for use by guests. If conditions permit the telescopes can be set up for a view of the Island's dark skies.

Freshwater Bay Ski School
A six inch refractor, one of a number of telescopes at Ruskin Lodge. If conditions permit, guests may be offered a view of the cosmos. The dark skies of the West Wight are renowned for the views of the night sky they offer.
